Moorpark is a small city located in Ventura County. It was incorporated in July 1983 and is 12.44 miles in size. In 1887, Robert W. Poindexter named the city after the Moorpark apricot which grew throughout the valley. The city has a large agricultural industry and is known for their many farms and fields of crops.
