Education

Schools in Newbury Park

If you're thinking about moving to Newbury Park, I think you'd really like it—especially if schools are a big factor. It's part of the Conejo Valley Unified School District, which is one of the better districts in the area. Schools like Newbury Park High School have a strong reputation, with great academic programs, sports, and even a pretty impressive music and arts scene.

It’s also a good place for younger kids—there are several highly rated elementary and middle schools that feel really safe and community-oriented. Plus, there are some great private school options nearby if you’re looking for smaller class sizes or a different learning approach.

Another perk: you’re close to Moorpark College and California Lutheran University, so there’s good access to college-level classes and continuing ed if that’s ever needed. Honestly, Newbury Park feels like one of those places where kids can grow up in a well-rounded, supportive environment.
